We believe kids learn more about God when they’re experiencing Jesus in a way they can understand and enjoy. Our ministry offers kids of all ages a safe, gospel-centered environment created just for them.

What to Expect

Traders Point Physical Campuses

When you arrive for your first time, sign in at the Kids Guest Check-In Desk. You’ll receive a parent tag that you can use to pick up your kids after service.

Your kids will have a blast learning about Jesus at their level and in age-appropriate rooms. If you’re new, please arrive at least 15 minutes early to register your kids and make sure they get to their rooms before service begins.

Birth–Kindergarten

Infants receive loving care and attention in an interactive and fun classroom. Toddlers begin learning about Jesus and are introduced to God’s Word through free play, worship, interactive Bible stories, and activities. Kids in preschool and kindergarten experience interactive small groups, prayer, free play, and large group experience. This is a high-energy time filled with fun worship and Bible teaching.

Grades 1–6

Kids in Grades 1-6 grow in their relationship with Jesus through large group and small group time. Large group includes worship and a video message designed to point kids towards Jesus in a fun and interactive way. Small groups include discussion and activities that help kids apply what they’re learning to their daily lives.

Beyond Grade 6

After 6th grade, kids can jump into Traders Point Youth, our student ministry for grades 7–12. Check it out!

Have a child with A DISABILITY?

We embrace and nurture every child regardless of needs and abilities. Our Disability Ministry offers tailored teaching, groups, and individualized attention for kids who need special accommodation.

Kids Camp

JULY 15 - 18 | Traders Point Kids is taking current 3rd through 5th graders to SpringHill Camp in Seymour, Indiana. Kids camp includes three nights and four days of an overnight camp experience. More Info

7th grade welcome

If you have a child going into 7th grade this next school year, we invite you to our 7th grade welcome event. At the event, you will have the opportunity to meet other families, as well as your campus Youth Pastor, and learn about the different opportunities available for this phase of life. More Info

Traders Point Kids Groups

Discipleship happens best in the context of relationship. This is why we place such a high emphasis on being involved in a group at Traders Point. Groups at Traders Point are a necessary part of spiritual growth for adults, teens, and kids.

No one has the potential to influence a kid like a parent. At the same time, a parent is not the only influence a kid needs.

In Traders Point Kids, preschool and elementary kids are placed in a group with consistent peers and leader(s) from week to week. This helps create a safe space for them to learn about Jesus and be known by others.

In their group, kids have fun together, learn from a large group Bible message, and then process what they're learning with their peers. An intentional and consistent group leader invests in their faith development each week. This group leader’s purpose is to connect with kids and their parents to help them take their next step in their relationship with Jesus.

Significant learning only happens where there is significant relationship. With Traders Point Kids groups, we hope your kid experiences a high level of engagement, a sense of belonging, a predictable and safe environment, and the chance to feel known and accepted in a loving community.

How do I know if my child needs me?

If you’re needed, a Traders Point Kids team member will text you.

What is my child learning at Traders Point?

In Traders Point Kids, we teach Bible lessons and share the gospel message every week. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to see what your kids do and find ideas for activities that help your child grow closer to Jesus.

How does Traders Point handle allergies?

No regular snack is served in any classroom. When food is served on special occasions and when potential allergens are used during an activity, allergy signs will be posted to alert parents. Allergy-friendly options are always available, too.

Outside food and drinks are not allowed in the classroom (with the exception of baby bottles).

If your child has an allergy, please tell a team member at the kids Guest Check In desk. This important info will be added to your child’s ID tag.

Do volunteers get background checks?

Yes, all people serving with kids go through an extensive vetting process including background checks, orientation, and reference checks. And just for added reassurance, no team member is ever permitted to be alone with a child.

What are your diaper changing and restroom policies?

Diapering stations are in the classrooms in view of all team members. Traders Point provides all necessary supplies (with the exception of cloth diapers). If your child wears cloth diapers, we’ll text you if a diaper change is needed.

When an older child needs restroom assistance, they’re accompanied by more than one team member.

Where can I nurse my child?

Each campus has a unique, comfortable, and private location for nursing moms to feed babies while still watching the service on TV. Select your campus or ask for assistance at kids Guest Check In for more specific details.

What should I do if my child asks about getting baptized?

Celebrate with them! Check out our Kids Baptism page for more resources on how to talk through this decision with your child.

Do you have a baby dedication?

No, Traders Point does not facilitate baby dedications. But we have created a study for parents including ideas for having a family dedication with family and friends.

Do you offer summer camp or Vacation Bible School?

Traders Point Kids offers an overnight summer camp experience. Check out tpcc.org/camp for more info on dates, location, and eligibility. Traders Point Kids does not offer a Vacation Bible School.

What does my child need to bring to church?

Infants and toddlers might want a personal comfort item such as a pacifier or blanket (labeled with their name). Otherwise, we provide all the supplies and toys needed for a safe, enjoyable experience.

How can I lead my kids to a relationship with Jesus?

Parents and guardians have the greatest influence on a child’s life. Be intentional about following Jesus yourself. Then, talk to your kids frequently about why you love Jesus, and what He means in your life.

It’s also great to regularly bring your kids to church and spend time with other families who love Jesus, too.

When kids have meaningful relationships with others who demonstrate a deep and strong faith, they’re more likely to choose a life with Jesus.
